Southern Kaiser Medical Record Requests
Southern Kaiser has completed the consolidation of their record copying process into one central release of information unit. Because of this, all medical record retrieval companies, including EMSI, are experiencing a delay in the fulfillment of their requested medical records.
We continue to actively monitor all requests submitted to Southern Kaiser and are communicating with their management team regarding their progress on all backlog requests. At their current rate, Southern Kaiser intends to be current by the end of May.
Current status:
Southern Kaiser is currently working on requests received (in good order) between April 9 and April 16, 2013. Please note the fulfillment of some requests may experience an additional delay due to having to obtain paper records.
