Pre-Employment Screening

Before making an offer of employment, many companies conduct a background check. These checks may be mandated by a company’s own human resources department or, in the case of high-security positions, the Department of Homeland Security or DOT. 

In addition to the public and private information revealed in these background checks, employers need to be certain that the information provided on a resume or application is complete and truthful.
