Join one of the strongest, independent networks of physicians and nurse practitioners providing medical evaluation services to Medicare members to verify health status and unidentified or underlying health conditions.
We offer simplified administration, online tools and attractive compensation.
As an independent contractor, you’ll enjoy:
- Flexibility – you set your schedule and territory
- Temporary assignments for 4 – 8 weeks or longer, if desired
- No prescribing or treatment, simply performing assessments/evaluations
- Fixed payment per completed appointment; each visit takes approximately 45 minutes
As an independent medical professional, you will be required to:
- Complete training programs and be credentialed.
- Conduct the in-home examination.
- Complete our examination form.
- Briefly answer the member’s health-related questions.
- Complete an “Ask Your Doctor” worksheet.
- Leave the worksheet, a contact sheet, and small gift with the member.
- Return the signed examination form to EMSI.
- Participate in quality assurance sessions with peers.
EMSI will provide the following:
- Credentialing services, training programs and a brief orientation session.
- Fixed payment per visit (typical appointment lasts 45 minutes). Payment made weekly.
- Arrangement of appointments with Medicare members within a certain timeframe.
- Web tracking and scheduling tools to maximize your travel time.
