EMSI's teleuderwriting service is designed to be a seamless, integrated end-to-end business solution that ensures consistency, accuracy, legibility and timeliness.
    Teleapplications
    EMSI’s teleapplication process is designed for applicant ease and convenience. Medically trained data specialists work with you to collect all application data through one secure and convenient telephone interview. The entire interview is recorded and attached as a .WAV file before being sent back to you.

    Our fully integrated voice signature capability allows applicants to electronically sign documents over the phone, eliminating the separate steps of printing, mailing, signing and returning of applications. Our MIB connectivity allows us to quickly collect necessary additional information for claims or applications. Once we receive all required information, we conduct a quality review process to ensure all forms and requirements are complete. When exams are needed we will automatically route your transaction to the closest office for scheduling of the exam appointment.

    EMSI keeps you informed every step of the way by e-mail, phone, reports or online. We also provide online access to status and results of all underwriting requirements so you can stay involved even from far away.

    Case Management
    Our experienced staff can manage the underwriting of a case from start to finish. Our process includes ordering of requirements, timely follow-up, receipt of requirements and closing-out the case if the requirements are not received. To keep you informed along the way, we will provide you with online access to status and results of all underwriting requirements. For additional updates clients can also indicate trigger events for automated email generation. Our case management allows clients to manage results rather than the process.

    Agent Services
    To improve turnaround time and eliminate inefficiencies, EMSI has on-staff, licensed agents that can explain and answer applicants’ questions about the insurance process rather than returning to the agent of record. We will work closely with your compliance department to determine which function our agents can process – leaving your staff free to concentrate on other sales opportunities.
