Mark S. Davis
President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman

Mr. Davis is a skilled executive with more than 20 years experience in the Insurance Services industry, specializing in the life and health industry with a track record of leading turnaround and growth companies. Mr. Davis has specialized in building senior management teams with extensive experience in organizational improvement and that are recognized as the best in the industry. Prior to joining EMSI, Mr. Davis was President of Benesight, Inc., the nations leading provider of administrative and insurance services to employers who self insure their benefit programs. Benesight is owned by Fiserv, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Prior to Benesight, Mr. Davis held the position of Divisional President of EBP Healthplans, a publicly held company, also in the life and health insurance industry. Mr. Davis has served on non-profit companies Board of Directors and has been active in several youth sports organizations.



Robert P. Brook
Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Director

Mr. Brook is a seasoned insurance executive and entrepreneur with nearly 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  Mr. Brook brings to the company considerable experience in insurance services specializing in growth initiatives, establishing distribution channels, product development and creating a culture around world-class sales and customer care.  Prior to joining EMSI, he held senior management positions with Trewit, Inc., a health services holding company, and UnitedHealth Group, Inc. and has served on several boards of directors for  start-up companies, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.



Chad M. Gross
Chief Information Officer and
Chief Operating Officer, Medical Records Retrieval

As chief information officer, Mr. Gross is responsible for providing management and leadership on all aspects of EMSI's information management and information technology programs which directly support the company's objectives.  In his role as chief operating officer for the Medical Records Retrieval division, he has direct operational oversight for litigation services, Premier Solutions and all regional call center based attending physician statement (APS) functions.  Prior to his tenure at EMSI, Mr. Gross was the chief information officer for FISERV Health, a division of FISERV. He has extensive experience with creating world-class data and information centers, Internet development initiatives, and improving internal and external customer connectivity and technology opportunities.



Jon Gruenhagen
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gruenhagen joined EMSI in August, 2005 as CFO. Mr. Gruenhagen’s has over 20 years of financial management experience, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, treasury management and strategic business planning. He most recently served as Principal for Gruenhagen Consulting, LLC, a management advisory firm specializing in strategic planning, debt and equity financing, start-up consulting, and M&A due diligence. Prior to that, Mr. Gruenhagen was the Chief Financial Officer for a Minneapolis-based healthcare administrator. Mr. Gruenhagen began his career with Deloitte & Touche and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Lutheran University.



Anthony R. Falisi
Corporate Secretary and General Counsel

Mr. Falisi was formerly a law clerk in the Office of the Monmouth County Prosecutor, Freehold, New Jersey.  He was formerly a legal intern with the New York Stock Exchange Arbitration in New York, NY, and was with J.P. Morgan Guaranty Trust Company as a Financial Advisory Assistant.  Mr. Falisi’s Bar Admissions include the State of New Jersey,  and State of Texas.  He graduated from New York Law School as Juris Doctor, and earned his bachelor’s of arts at Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey.



Christian Camp
Vice President, Human Resources

Christian Camp is responsible for all human resource areas including employee relations, benefits, staffing, performance management and compliance. Prior to joining EMSI, Mr. Camp served as senior director of Human Resources for Safety-Kleen Systems Inc., in Plano, Texas. As a member of the Human Resource organization for Michaels Arts and Crafts stores, he supported their Distribution Center Division.

He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Mr. Camp received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Concordia College and University, Portland, OR.



H. Michael Gaines
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer,
Exam and Health Services Division

Mr. Gaines joined the company in 1998 when EMSI acquired PMSI. He was named Executive Vice President and General Manager of PMSI in 1994.  Prior to his experience with PMSI, he was President of ASB/Meditest for five years, having been with the company since 1982. Mr. Gaines earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Kansas State College in Kansas and graduated with a master’s of business administration degree with distinction from Rockhurst University in Missouri.



 



Jane Severson Kelly
Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Ms. Severson Kelly is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic marketing, product development, brand management, marketing communications and public relations initiatives. Ms. Severson Kelly, a veteran of the employee benefits and insurance services industries, formerly served as VP, Marketing and Product Development for a large regional health benefits administrator. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of online services for Trewit, a division of Fiserv Health. She has held various management roles at Benesight, FirstHealth and EBP Healthplans.



Lynda Johnson Lorenz
Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Litigation Services

Ms. Johnson Lorenz joined EMSI in 2004 as senior vice president of strategic accounts and quickly implemented a comprehensive strategic account management program for the company. Currently, she oversees business development for Litigation Services, including management of strategic sales and partner relationships. Previously, she was a health & welfare consultant with Palmer & Cay. Prior to that, she was vice president, National Accounts for Benesight, Inc. a division of FISERV Health, where she developed a formal national accounts client relationship management and sales division. Ms Johnson Lorenz received her Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, with a Direct Marketing emphasis, from the University of Missouri.





David Merrill
President, ICS Merrill

Mr. Merrill has spent his entire career in the fight against insurance fraud. A seasoned entrepreneur, he was most recently the CEO of The Merrill Group, a company that he founded, and grew to become one of the most respected firms in its space. Mr. Merrill is now senior vice president and general manager in charge of the EMSI claims investigation division. Today he serves on the Board of several non profit organizations, with an emphasis on children and those in need. He is a published author and recognized in the insurance and business community, serving also as a Director of AMCOMP, a Board member of PIRSAC and designated by the Jacksonville Business Journal as an “Up and Comer” in a recent article on rising young executives.



Kamette Myers
Vice President, Relationship Management

Ms. Myers is responsible for EMSI's account management programs, establishing and meeting customer requirements, and distinguishing EMSI's account management program as a world class service organization. Prior to joining the team at EMSI, she held various positions in insurance services specializing in employee benefits and risk management services. Most recently she directed the account management program for Benesight, a division of FISERV Health. She has also held senior positions with United Healthcare in account management, customer service and claims management.
